Are You My Mother? is a children's book by P. D. Eastman published by Random House Books for Young Readers on J as part of its Beginner Books series. Based on a online poll, the National Education Association named the book one of its "Teachers' Top Books for Children." It Author: P. D. Eastman.   Behind every GI rejected for or discharged from military service for psychological reasons, suddenly, there was a mother to blame, an overbearing, shrewish woman who’d created a neurotic man-baby. Some of these mothers, born in the late 19th century, were overbearing, shrewish women, understandably frustrated by their closely circumscribed roles.

The title of the book, 'The Fault in Our Stars', is directly referenced in one of Peter Van Houten's letters in which he writes "Were she better or you sicker, then the stars would not be so terribly crossed, but it is the nature of stars to cross, and never was Shakespeare more wrong than when he had Cassius note, 'The fault, dear Brutus, is.   The timeless message of the bond between mother and child make P. D. Eastman's Are You My Mother? a must for baby showers, beginning readers, and Mother's Day. Originally created by Dr. Seuss, Beginner Books encourage children to read all by themselves, with simple words and illustrationsthat give clues to their meaning/5().

Conclusion – The fault in our stars Now it’s time for me to share my thoughts about this amazing book written by the outstanding author John Green. Family Life. The Dirtiest (and Cleanest) Fruits and Veggies of   The Fault in Our Stars by John Green is an emotionally harrowing tale; so much so that I limited myself to reading a single chapter each morning and afternoon.

I would like to award this book with four stars out of five. The topic chosen by the author is a critical topic that can only be dealt with care and compassion.

The story is about Hazel Grace and Augustus Waters, both victims of different kinds of cancers. The main story starts off when Hazel Grace finds a blue-eyed boy staring her throughout a Cancer Support group in the literal heart of Jesus.4/5. Summary. Hazel is a year-old girl with cancer, which she calls a "side effect of dying" (p.3).

Another side effect of dying, according to Hazel, is her depression, and though she sees this as normal and incurable, her mother talks to one of her many doctors and gets her set up with antidepressants and a regularly meeting support group for youths with cancer.

Mother, Mother by Koren Zailckas is the exploration of a family who's matriarch is possibly one of the most vile, nutcases I have read in a long time.
